Bike manufacturers Bicycle.org has published its latest bike reviews, with one of the highlights being the announcement that the company will now be known as Bicycle.
“The future is a bicycle,” CEO Michael D. Fong said in a statement.
“Bike.org will no longer be known for its bike reviews but rather for the exciting products that make them possible.”
Diversified business The announcement has given the company more room to diversify its business.
“We’re building a brand-new online platform to provide our customers with a comprehensive set of product information, tools and support to enable them to make the most of their bike,” Fong wrote in a blog post.
“For years, we’ve helped our customers connect with brands that inspire them and give them a reason to buy bikes.”
The website will be available in more than 180 countries.
The company also announced a partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce, which is “an industry leader in providing free bike repair and support for its members,” according to the blog post, adding that it will also provide a free online bike repair course.
The deal comes at a time when bike sales are up in many countries, and it’s likely that more people will be interested in buying a bike if it’s available.
For example, the number of new bikes sold in the US last year jumped 17 percent, according to a report from CycleAmerica, while the average age of the market rose from 34 to 37.
