Two people are dead after a bicycle was hit by another vehicle on a highway in Illinois.
The crash happened Monday on Interstate 94 near Oakdale, about 100 miles north of Chicago, according to a news release from the Illinois State Police.

The cyclist, who was not wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital where she died, according the release.
Police said the vehicle was a Honda Accord.
They said no charges had been filed.
Police identified the driver as 28-year-old Ryan J. Taylor, of Oakdale.
He was arrested and booked into the DuPage County Jail, according CBS affiliate WLS-TV.
Taylor was in the backseat and the bicyclists were in the front passenger seat, according police.
They were both wearing helmets at the time of the crash, authorities said.
